On the base of the analysis of the outcomes of the mass certification processes carried out in Veneto until now and considering the reference performance criteria for sustainable building identified by the CESBA initiative, experts, technicians and public administrations discussed with the regional sections of Urbanistic, Energy and Public Works about which criteria could be the most relevant to guide renovation of public buildings and social housing for the Veneto region in the next season of ERDF funding.
Framework for the working table were the recent Communications “Resource efficiency opportunities in the building sector” (COM (2014) 445 final) and “Strategy for the sustainable competitiveness of the construction sector and its enterprises” (COM/2012/0433 final).
